What you choose to share

The checker accepts pasted text, descriptions of calls, and PNG, JPEG or WebP images. Selecting a photo reads it into your browser; it is submitted only when you choose to check it. We do not access your inbox, monitor calls, or automatically contact anyone.

How a check works

When live analysis is enabled, the content you submit is sent to the TrustBuddy server and to Google Gemini to generate risk guidance. If analysis is not configured, the server returns an unavailable message and does not send your content to Google Gemini.

Storage and service providers

This app has no analysis-history database and does not intentionally write submitted content or results to files or application logs. Your current input and result remain in the page’s memory until you clear them, leave the page, or reload.

Google’s handling of submitted content depends on your API service tier and applicable terms. Unpaid services may use submissions and responses to improve Google products and may involve human review. Do not submit sensitive, confidential, or personal information. Paid services have different data-use terms; security and legal retention may still apply. See Google’s Gemini API terms. Hosting and service providers may also process technical information such as IP addresses and request metadata.

Accounts, cookies and analytics

Account registration and sign-in are not enabled in this preview. We do not collect login details. The app does not add advertising trackers, analytics cookies, or browser storage for your check history. A future hosted sign-in service may have its own necessary cookies and privacy terms.

Your choices

You can browse without submitting content. Do not include passwords, one-time codes, full card numbers, identification numbers, or unnecessary information about other people. Use “Check another” to clear the current input and result. Clearing the page does not delete any records already retained by a service provider.

Who is behind TrustBuddy?

TrustBuddy is created by Prashant Singh Tewatia. A dedicated privacy contact has not yet been provided for this preview. Contact information and any deployment-specific processing details must be added before a public launch.
